Sheilah D. Vance, Esquire has extensive experience in Title IX and EEO law, policy, and administration, both as an attorney, a two-time Title IX Coordinator, a Title VI Coordinator, and the Chief Officer for civil rights laws impacting students and employees at education institutions.

She has worked with institutions on Title IX policy formulation and risk management, and as an investigator, hearing officer, informal resolution leader/mediator, advisor, and Interim Title IX Coordinator.  She also provides personal coaching for Title IX Coordinators and program staff.

Vance serves on the Advisory Board of the Association of Title IX Coordinators (ATIXA), and is an Affiliated Consultant with TNG Consulting, which works with K-12 and higher education institutions on Title IX prevention, risk management, and program administration.

She is also Chair of the Board of Directors of the Clery Center, which engages in compliance and education services for postsecondary instititons related to the federal Clery Act and its requirements regarding the Violence Against Women Act and crimes of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and hate crimes.
